Here at Labre Crop Consulting we do things differently.

Our first major difference is our soil sampling technique.  Our most popular process is a hybrid of grid sampling and soil type sampling.  We usually sample the most predominant soil type within each grid.  Another aspect in this process includes the producers inputs for sampling points.  Nobody knows their field better than the farmer.  If there are areas of the field you would like more information about, we will gladly incorporate those into the sampling scheme.  We can also include yield maps in this process if they are available.

One of the most important aspects of intensive soil sampling is repeatability.  Our process will give you the best repeatability possible when it is time to resample.  Then you can begin to see the progress being made in you fertility program and the economics at work.

We can help you collect GIS information all season long if you are interested.  This becomes very informative for interpreting yield maps and finding the most economical areas of your field - or more importantly, the economic problems in your fields.

Our charges are also laid out differently.  The customer will be billed for the amount of work that we do in his or her field - not by the acres in that field.  This becomes important to the producer who wants a very customized plan or is interested in either more or less intensive data collection.
